Since its inception in 2014, TERN's AEKOS has catalysed 25 data citations and more are in the pipeline.
Data citations are increasingly influencing career advancements. To help your career, TERN encourages you first to publish your new data subsets downloaded from AEKOS via SHaRED and then to list the full citations for each downloaded dataset (see Conditions of Use pdf at download or the dataset metadata tab in AEKOS) in the supplementary material for the paper or report. Many researchers have invested enormous resources in collecting the data stored in AEKOS so we encourage to follow traditional scientific practice and cite them. If you have used AEKOS data, please tell us about the citation(s).
